After the workmen left in November, we have been busily arranging the whole premises and are now well under way with the decoration of the rooms. By Easter we will be ready.

INTENSIVE STUDY WEEK

The annual Kelston Intensive Study Week will be taking place in Cheshire from 9th to 15th April 2012. It is for those taking public examinations. We are expecting a large group from around the country this year. Full details and application form (please print it out) here. Please note the conditions for attendance.

OPEN HOUSE BARBECUE

We are deliberately holding back publishing photographs of the changes while we are setting rooms up. We expect to be ready by Easter and soon after will have an Open House Barbecue. Details in March.

KELSTON SKI TRIP LEADERSHIP PROGRAMME

As part of the Kelston Leadership Programme, the Ski Trip returned and all had a great time. Photos are at the end of the 2011 gallery.

STOP PRESS

The renovation work on Kelston to expand threefold will continue into the autumn and we may not be ready to launch the new-look club and study centre till the New Year. However, we will have a better idea of the situation in late August.

Anyone who feels they can help in the leadership of the club and study centre in the autumn term, or can give any time in to the fundraising efforts, please get in touch with the club leader.

If anyone in the locality has a qualification in an activity or skill (e.g. archery, canoeing, rock-climbing, sailing and so on) and can offer some time either train others or run an activity, please contact the club leader.

Membership fees will again be frozen in the next academic year due to the continuing renovating works and restrictions in place. As ever, contributions to running expenses are always welcome and valued.
