Football Sketch
In order to create a piece of classic entertainment for the archives, and to have great fun at the same time, we thought we would create a sketch whereby everybody would get involved and have a chance to show off their football skills! It was easy enough to get started, thumping the ball out of camera view, even if it was hard trying to perfect the art of throwing the ball against a lamppost. If only you could see the out-takes! There were no desperate volunteers to be hit in the head by the football, so some brute force was called for. We eventually came to the last scene of the sketch. This proved to be the most challenging, as our resident basketball expert wasn’t available. And so we called upon the services of the one and only Vincent, who rose to the challenge with great success………….after seventeen takes! But a great time was had by all, and everyone involved can be well satisfied that they have contributed to one of the all-time classic Kelston clips. Sam P writes.
