In October Kelston will move next door so that works can be carried out at 159 Nightingale Lane. The Study Centre will then begin at 4pm. There will be no football since we will not have changing or shower facilities.
Sunday 5th September Classic film ‘On the Waterfront’, with an introduction and discussion to follow.
Sunday 12th September Music Appreciation Group. Each person brings two songs on mp3 or CD, one a favourite and the other challenging.
Sunday 19th September Excursion to Birmingham as part of the Papal Visit programme. Do find out details of how you can see the Pope in these days.
Sunday 26th September Kelston will be open for private study only as there will be a leader training day today. Those who wish may join the leader training programme.
Sunday 3rd October Leader training session with Mickey Gordon.. Celebrations to mark the anniversary of the foundation of Opus Dei.
Sunday 10th October Evening visit to a local Japanese restaurant. £6 per head.
Sunday 17th October Indoor four-a-side football competition. Full details will be available. Sunday 24th October Feature film on the big screen, with introduction and discussion afterwards.
Sunday 31st October Music performances. A variety of video footage of live concerts.
Sunday 7th November Visit to a local fireworks display either today or the previous night.
Sunday 14th November Team Quiz on general and specialist topics.
Sunday 21st November Students from Netherhall House will speak about university life.
Sunday 28th November Question Time. Panel answer questions from the audience.
Sunday 5th December Ten-Pin Bowling at a local venue.
Sunday 12th December Christmas Dinner at a restaurant in the locality.
In the New Year there will be a new, expanded Kelston and full details will be available on the new-look Study Centre in December.
